About Me

Carrie Lee Connel lives in London, ON, Canada, with her husband.  She has a Bachelor in English Language and Literature and an MLIS from Western University.  Her stories have been published in Beliveau Review, Fterota Logia, Blood & Bourbon, Credo Espoir, The Sirens Call, Synaeresis, The Novice Writer, and Academy of the Heart and Mind, and in the print anthologies Fterota Logia 1, Tales From the Realm, Volume One (Aphotic Realm), and NOPE Horror Quarterly (TL;DR Press).   Carrie released a book of short stories in 2021:  The Bogified Manuscript:  Weird and Ghostly Stories.

 

As a poet, Carrie has been published in the anthologies Smitten, Piping at the End of Days, Moon Shine, and Another London, and the literary magazines Synaeresis, Tiny Spoon, The Toronto Quarterly, Canadian Stories, and Phati'tude.  She has published two poetry chapbooks:  Persona Grata (2016) and A Day in Pieces (2013), both from Harmonia Press.   In 2020, Carrie released her book of poetry Written In Situ.
